We meet before you book
Handing house keys and a living animal to someone found on a website is a genuinely large ask, and no amount of warm language on a page should fix that.
So there is always a meeting first. In your home, with you there, before anything is booked. Your animal decides how it goes and you watch it happen. There is no charge for it and no obligation after it.
If anything feels off, do not book. That is the correct outcome, and better reached in your living room than three days into a trip.

An app is very good at filling a slot on short notice. It cannot sell continuity, because interchangeable sitters are how its inventory works. The person who arrives is whoever was free.

No veterinary medicine, no training or behavior modification, and no grooming. And no kennels, when a stay happens at our place, it is a house your animal lives in, with a small number of guests at a time.
